# Declared build-root annotations — 2026-10-04

The unchanged `toolchain-resolver-self-test` source gate reported three lines:
the parity auditor's explicitly validated .NET build root, the loopback
driver's explicitly validated C++ build root/selected SDK artifact, and its
deliberately foreign binary fixture. They now carry the repository's required
`# build-root:` explanation. No path selection or runtime expression changes.

The original full resolver suite at base
`e6bcaf219c80aa799f29efa750f6fa83f55b3bf4` has **28 passes and one failure**.
The corrected suite has **29 passes, zero failures and zero skips**. The scan
and its negative controls remain unchanged. All three edited modules have
byte-identical executable lines after removing only the added inline comments,
and identical complete Python ASTs.

The original archive CLI/argument qualification retains its own source pin;
these annotations add no engine build, runtime/native load, benchmark timing,
physical or release admission.
