# HP llfix profile installer path repair

The user reported `1 listed file could not be read` when running the profile
installer. Inspection on 2026-10-07 found that its entire disposable session
build root was absent. The home wrapper still pointed there. This establishes
the missing path; it does not establish who removed the build root.

The completed [investigation archive](RECORD_2026-10-06_llfix-hp-onload-gap.md)
remains available. All six profile preparation inputs were restored after
checking its SHA256, seal SHA256, safe member paths/types and each selected
file's exact bytes, size and mode. They now live under the persistent
`~/.cache/libhft/llfix-reference-hp-gap-v1-6861dd9b89fb/` directory. Installer
SHA256 remains `359133e64752f22175b643aa12146ef45972a3a60d5bb3f1bf380a257f83cd80`.

The corrected `~/install-llfix-gap.sh` selects that cache input and writes its
log under `~/archive/libhft/codex-llfix-reference-20261007/hp-gap-installer-path-repair1/`.
Its checksum step returns `OK`; Bash syntax verification returns zero. The
wrapper's new SHA256 is
`5b47f4594b530c9b80977628fe0b3ec7367c40c20cca56636a79bd1f83d139d3`.

The [repair receipt](evidence/llfix-hp-installer-path-repair-20261007/repair.json),
original/corrected wrappers and
[direct CLI observations](evidence/llfix-hp-installer-path-repair-20261007/checked-cli-observations.json)
are retained locally and on HP. Original sealed evidence and root payload bytes
stay unchanged. This repair executes no root installation, build or benchmark;
the user can rerun the corrected wrapper to install the prepared launchers.
